General information on possibilities of working on one of our projects abroad

 

Malteser International has been providing humanitarian relief since 1956. About 30 experts in our headquarter in Cologne and around 120 expatriates as well as 700 to 750 local staff on site care for our projects in more than 30 countries worldwide. We are active in Asia, Africa, in the Balkans and in Central and Eastern Europe in the fields of emergency relief and rehabilitation.

Even if the number of vacancies is limited, we are always very interested in qualified personnel. The health sector is our main field of activity. Hence, we are always looking for

- physicians
- medical specialists
- masters in public health or equivalent
- nurses and orderlies
- rescue assistants
- midwives
- x-ray assistants

to work on our worldwide projects.

Furthermore, we also require staff members without medical background but experienced in humanitarian relief such as - for example -

- coordinators
- administrators
- logisticians
- technicians.

For candidates who have graduated from university (or specialist college) or have completed a qualifying apprenticeship relevant for the field of humanitarian aid we also offer a one year long Career Entry Programme.
